
This structure was the farm homestead of Nathan Green, one of the first three men who came to the area of what is now Alfred Station in 1807. The original part of the house was built around 1835. Some years later an addition was made in the Greek Revial style. At the present time, it is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Palmiter. Adjacent is the location of “The Pumpkin Patch” where thousands of pumpkins are grown and sold each October
