Leadership

Our Leadership

The  Executive Board is lead by the Student Senate President and is composed of nine elected chairs and one appointed member, each with specific responsibilities.  Two advisors assist in Senate activities.

Adam Nash, President
Student Senate of A.S.C.
Orvis Activities Center

Under the leadership of President Adam Nash, the Student Senate seeks to accomplish it's primary task as the managers of over $525,000 in activities fees.  As the liaison between students and college administration, the Senate meets on alternate Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the Allegany Room, Central Dining Hall. All students are invited to attend campus-wide meetings. If you are interested in serving as a senator, contact your club advisor or residence hall coordinator. For club info, click here.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Student Senate.  Members of the executive board were elected in campus-wide elections in Spring ‘08 to lead the student body.  Get to know them.  They are dedicated to making life at Alfred State College better! In addition, representatives from 50+ student organizations participate in the Student Senate.  Take advantage of your opportunity to be involved.

College-Wide Meetings
