Mission Statement An organization for students of African American descent at Alfred State College. The "Union" represents the unity if the collectiveness of all peoples of African descent represented in the African Diaspora. The Black Student Union is dedicated to enriching the environment in which all students live and learn at Alfred State College. The union attempts to achieve this by sponsoring a variety of activities that have an academic, social, or cultural focus. It is an organization that also promotes multicultural awareness through its programming and welcomes membership of any Alfred State student. B.S.U.
